Comments
- If you extracted all the best features of Nordictrack treadmills and crammed it all into one, you get the Nordictrack Elite XT. Though for a home treadmill, $1400 seems like a decent amount of change, dare I say it's worth every dollar. For one, this is a TV treadmill and there aren't a lot of treadmills selling for less than $1400 that come with a TV. The most notable exceptions are the Perspective ES by Proform and Epic View 550 which are both manufactured by the same parent company (Icon health and Fitness) but both of these are models are a few years old. The Nordictrack Elite XT is brand spanking new for 2009 and is in fact, an upgraded version of the Elite 7500 which we also highly recommended over the other TV treadmills.
Even if you're not a fan of TV treadmills, you'll definitely enjoy all the other bells and whistles that they managed to cram into this machine including ability to fold, a spacious 20"x60" treadbelt, acoustic speakers for your MP3 player, one of the finest cushioning technologies, and a ton of workout programs.
In terms of quality, it's really hard to say for any treadmill for that matter as to how well it'll hold up. But if you take a look at all the factors that usually separates a high quality and low quality treadmill, you'll see that the Elite XT is probably one of the better built treadmills by Nordictrack. For one, the motor is extremely powerful at 3.5 CHP but unfortunately, we don't know how big the rollers are. What we do know is that with a 350 lb weight capacity, Nordictrack definitely has a lot of confidence in the quality and durability of this treadmill.
The Nordictrack Elite XT treadmill is the successor to the highly rated Elite 7500 treadmill. With the Nordictrack Elite 7500 already being one of the most successful treadmills from Nordictrack, the Nordictrack Elite XT has even more to offer.
The distinguishing feature that sets this treadmill apart from its competitor is the built in 7 inch flat screen tV. With the digital tuner, you can tune into both analog and digital frequencies. This TV is combined with the Acoustics 3.0 Equalized Sound to give you an impressive audio and video experience all while shedding those unwanted pounds!
No doubt, the Nordictrack Elite XT treadmill features an impressive set of entertainment features but it's not pushover when it comes to the quality as well. With a powerful 3.5 CHP commercial pro motor with an equally impressive spacious 20 by 60 inch treadmill belt, it's one of the roomiest treadmills that you'll find anywhere. The 350 lb weight capacity will acommodate pretty much everyone as well.
With a regular sale price of $2999, is one of the impressive treadmills by Nordictrack by far.
