Good Points

• The PRO 3500 is an improvement over the PRO 1500 in a few ways. The first way is it features the double number of programs (48!). The second way is it comes with a free 1 year subscription to iFit Live. There are also cosmetic differences but we don’t prefer one over the other. You might also appreciate the in-handle controls which is a nice touch since it allows you to adjust the resistance and ramp without touching the console.
• The pros we mentioned for the Pro 1500 basically apply to the Pro 3500 but to a lesser degree since this model is slightly more expensive. If you haven’t read our other review, we were most impressed with the Pro 1500’s balance of price and quality. The decline ramp and adjustable stride option isn’t too shabby either.

Bad Points

• Since the Pro 1500 is basically just the Pro 3500 without the iFit Live and a few minor items (at least in our opinion), those who are tight on cash should probably just buy the Pro 1500 and pay an extra $100 for the iFit Live
• Elliptical weight unknown

Verdict

• The Proform Pro 3500 elliptical is the most expensive elliptical sold by Proform at the time of review. In many ways, the Pro 3500 is the crème of the crop in Proform’s lineup but it comes at a premium. The retail price of $2599 puts it strictly outside many people’s budget but a potential discount during sales of $1000 or so would make this one a possible choice for many. As a reminder, there is also the PRO 1500 for you to consider which is slightly more affordable but perhaps less polished. Either way, this is as good as it gets for Proform in terms of quality and features so it’s up to you to decide whether it’s worth the investment.
