Good points

• for an elliptical that costs this little, 20+ workout programs is impressive and what's even more impressive is that it supports the iFit card workout technology for even more programs
• very reasonably priced most of the time
• built-in sound system to play your favorite MP3s

Bad points

• so so quality as indicated by the low 275 pound weight capacity and unspecified warranty
• underwhelming stride lengths of 11",13" and 16"

Comments

• At a sale price of $500 or so, this elliptical really is a perfect example of what a few hundred dollars more can get you. Compared to the best ellipticals in the less than $400 category, this $500 elliptical is better by leaps and bounds. However, this should not be misinterpreted to mean that this elliptical is one of those workhorse, commercial ellipticals. In fact, durabilty is probably its biggest weaknesses.
• Though it does not have as many bells and whistles as you would expect in more expensive models, you're not really missing a whole lot compared to the models that are a few hundred bucks more. If there was a category for best buy under $500, this would probably be one of the top contenders.
