Good points

• More workout programs than you're likely to need at 24
• Slight improvements in quality over the 590E (but remember, this is still a home elliptical)
• Reasonable cost

Bad points

• Like the 590E, no features that really make it scream "buy me"

• The Proform 790E is more well equipped than most ellipticals in terms of bells and whistles but this isn't saying much. Unlike treadmills, the Icon Fitness ellipticals haven't been equipped with the new iFit Live technology that allows you to workout according to the topography of a route. Since ellipticals are an altogether different concept than treadmills, we might never see this get implemented. Which brings us back to our original point of how this elliptical is better equipped than most but still pretty bland. You get more workout programs than most, but no built in games, no TV, no spacesaver folding technology. But then again, ellipticals are priced low to begin with so even if this elliptical is in the upper middle price range, it's still really not that impressive.
