Description

NordicTrack Treadmill, ViewPoint 3000 is one of the coolest treadmills out in the market at present with the variety of cool features that it offers its users. You can watch TV, while keeping track of your workout on this 7, flat screen TV with multi-colored, on-screen display or turn off the TV and view all of your workout displays, along with a multi-colored intensity meter. If that is not enough, plug in your MP3 so you can listen to your favorite sounds through the built-in, 2 premium equalized speakers that are capable of a wide range of frequencies while delivering brilliant clarity. Customize your workout with iFIT Workout Card Technology. iFIT workout cards control the speed and incline of your treadmill, verbally prompt you and come in a variety of result-specific categories including Weight Loss, Wellness, Performance and more. It also has a DuraSoft Advanced Adjustable Cushioning System that allows you comfort while getting up to 33% less impact than road running. Along with the standard treadmill features, the ViewPoint 3000 has a heavy-duty tread deck that is built to accommodate weights up to 350 lbs. Rank: 3rd out of 11 treadmills under $1500
Good Points
this treadmill is called Viewpoint 3000 for a reason and that reason is because it comes equipped with a 7" flat screen TV'
iFit compatible so you can download your own programs to workout to
built-in speakers for use when you turn on the TV or when you make use of the iFit programs which contain verbal exercises
cushioning system is adjustable
the treadmill weighs a ton at 228 lbs
based on the horsepower rating of the motor, it should be more than sufficient to handle the belt
Bad Points
the treadmill comes with a 55" belt which is respectable but at prices in the mid 1000's, a 60" long belt is more appropriate
another case of a long motor warranty but short warranty on everything else
good deal but there might be better deals around
unknown number of preprogrammed workouts this treadmill comes with
Comments
Despite being in our top three for treadmills under $1500, the Nordictrack Viewpoint 3000 is actually not much of a deal especially when you compare to the other TV treadmills that we recommend. At $1499, this Nordictrack treadmill can be summed up as a smaller and more expensive option than both the Epic View 550 and the Proform Perspective ES. Don't waste anymore time looking at this treadmill and head over to either of those two other TV treadmills instead.
